Neritic Meaning

Neritic Diving comes from the term "Neritic Zone", a zone in the ocean where sunlight reaches the ocean floor. It is never too deep, always providing a relatively stable and well-illuminated environment for marine life, from plankton up to large fish and corals. It begins where the ocean meets land at the low tide water mark, extending to the continental shelf, ending before the abyssal plain.   

For this reason, everywhere humans dive or spearfish is considered the Neritic Zone, making every single diver a #NeriticDiver
