Freediving Courses 

Learn to freedive, an essential skill for a successful spearfishing trip. Training starts in the classroom as we dive into freediving anatomy, physiology, technique, safety, and  black out rescue.  These skills are practiced in the pool, and then tested during open water sessions.

Learn how to be a safe freediver in order to be a better hunter.
Neritic Diving offers the PADI Freediver Course with instructor CJ Duffie.

This course takes two days to complete and consists of four phases:

• Freediver Touch/E-Learning Modules
• Classroom session
• Confined water session
• Open water sessions

Once your freediving skills have been tuned, take one of our spearfishing courses to build on those freediving skills while introducing Pole Spears or Spearguns. Spearfishing adds puts you in entirely different and complex situations that will continuously test your ability to be calm and efficient, even in adversity. After this course, you will have an in-depth understanding of how to identify, approach and successfully hunt different fish species while using different team hunting styles and techniques. 

We offer private or group classes with flexible dates and location. Our customized approach gives you the best chance to reach your goals.    

Spearfishing Expeditions

Once you've got the gear and have had all the training, its time to chase dreams! Ask about how to customize a private spearfishing expedition where we target some of the fish at the top of your list in some of the locations you have always wanted to visit.

To reserve a date, a 50% deposit is collected. Cancellations made 14 days prior to the reserved date(s) will receive full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days will forfeit deposit. Guide services may be cancelled if weather deems unsafe operation. If alternative weather plan is not available, customer will receive option to reschedule. 

Guiding

Wherever you are I can jump on board of your boat and guide you for an incredible spearfishing experience and help you find the best spots to get the fish. Hire me for the day or for the length of your trip and we will be doing some of the most epic diving you have ever done.

Taxidermy

After you’ve landed the fish of your dreams, we offer skull mount and taxidermy services to cherish the incredible memory. If you caught the fish of a lifetime without us, simply freeze the head and tail and ship it to us. 

Equipment

Our Spearfishing and diving equipment is designed and made by CJ Duffie who works closely with other Neritic Divers while designing and testing gear. The Neritic Diving equipment is a result of both failure and success while spearfishing with different equipment, targeting different species in remote locations all over the world. These developments include Aluminum & Carbon Pole Spears, Teak Enclosed Track Spearguns, Yamamoto Open Cell Neoprene Wetsuits, Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber Fins, Travel Dive Bags, Cut Resistant Dive Gloves and other Accessories.
